How To Watch Mulan Online

The live-action adaptation of Mulan is the latest film to get a dual cinematic and streaming release – after Bill & Ted Face the Music.

If you want to be the first to watch this Disney blockbuster, then we’ve put together a quick guide on how you can stream Mulan when it releases worldwide on 4 September 2020.

Want to know what other big movies are on the horizon this year and after? Take a look at our list of the best upcoming cinematic releases.

How to watch Mulan on Disney Plus

Mulan will have exclusive streaming rights on Disney Plus. Therefore, if you’ve not already you’ll need to sign up for an account with this streaming platform. You can get Disney+ for either £5.99/$6.99 per month, or £59.99/$69.99 per year.

In addition – it’s worth noting that Mulan will come at an additional price on top of your subscription. Disney has confirmed that the US cost will be US$29.99, and the UK cost will be £19.99

You’ll have to be subscribed to Disney Plus to continue to watch Mulan – you cannot purchase the film one off. If you cancel your subscription, you’ll lose access to it.

Here’s what you’ll likely need to do to stream Mulan online:

Sign into your Disney+ account and head to the homepage
Click on Mulan – this will be ready to buy on and after the 4 September
Confirm its an additional purchase, and that you’re happy to billed extra

Whilst you wait for the live action version to be released, you can check out the original animated Mulan over on Disney+.

Can I stream Mulan anywhere else?

As far as we know, you can only watch Mulan online exclusively on Disney Plus once it’s released.

If you don’t want to pay $29.99 to get it once its released, then it may possibly come down in price (or be made part of the Disney+ subscription) in several months time. However, this is just us speculating and in no way confirmed by Disney.

Alternatively, if you want to pay a little less and don’t mind a cinema outing, you’ll be able to watch Mulan in the likes of Cineworld, Odeon and Vue – we’ll update this article with links once you can pre-order tickets.
