How to Watch LG’s CES 2021 Press Conference Live Stream

In the tech world, the year always kicks off with CES (the consumer electronics show). This normally takes place in Las Vegas but is online only for 2021 and this is how you can watch the LG press conference live stream.

LG is one of the major brands exhibiting at CES so this is one of the conferences you won’t want to miss. There’ll be more new tech than you can shake a stick at from vacuum cleaners to TVs.

When is the LG CES 2021 press conference?

LG’s press conference at CES is on Monday 11 January at 1pm GMT.

There is, of course, no physical show in Las Vegas this year due to the pandemic. So all the activities are happening online.

LG has a ‘virtual showroom’ that’s available between 11-14 January and this will kick off with the ‘Life is ON’ conference.

If you’re not officially registered for CES, you can watch it here as we’ve embedded it on this page for you.

What to expect from LG at CES 2021

There will be all kinds of new technology unveiled as LG says “Join us for a virtual preview of how LG’s newest home appliance, home entertainment and IT solutions will help consumers lead more comfortable and productive lives in 2021 and beyond.”

As is customary, LG has already announced plenty of new devices over the last few days including various smart home appliances, display tech and a new range of LG gram laptops (pictured above).

Some of the appliances already shown off include InstaView fridges and ovens, plus a stick vacuum with a frankly ridiculous name – the LG CordZeroThinQ A9 Kompressor+ (below).

We expect LG will spend a lot of time talking about new TVs for 2021, as is customary for CES. The firm has already said that it will launch its first-ever QNED Mini LED TVs as its new premium LCD offering.

“LG’s innovative Mini LED backlighting comprises up to almost 30,000 tiny LEDs that produce incredible peak brightness and a contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1 when paired with up to nearly 2,500 dimming zones and advanced local dimming technology.” said the firm.

The result is improved picture quality with better contrast and colour accuracy. They will go head-to-head with Samsung’s new Neo QLED range.

LG also announced that the 2021 range will come with webOS 6.0.

Tune into to find out about the 10 new 4K and 8K models ranging up to 86in. It’s also worth watching to see what LG has to say about its rollable and transparent OLED technology.

Don’t put much money any new smartphones, although there’s a slim chance LG could talk about its upcoming rollable phone.
