Best OnePlus Nord Deals: £30 off Nord phones with Amazon Prime

The OnePlus Nord officially launched at OnePlus’s online AR event on 21 July. The aggressively priced 5G devices with enviable specs officially go on general sale on 4 August – but you can get a discount right now.

Amazon is now offering £30 off Prime members until Tuesday 4 August (more on this below).

Here we’re keeping track of OnePlus Nord pricing, SIM-free offers, and contract deals so you can pick up a stellar deal on the new handsets.

How much does the OnePlus Nord cost?

The OnePlus Nord phones are available at two price-points depending on the configuration you choose. In the UK and Europe, the prices are as follows:

128GB storage and 8GB RAM for £379/€399
256GB storage and 12GB RAM for £469/€499

Both models are available in Blue Marble or Gray Onyx. The phone will be available across Europe as well. The phones will not be available in the US.

OnePlus heavily undercuts competitors at this pricing by offering premium quality specs well under £500 – undeniably threatening the flagship model of paying upwards of £1000 for slightly better performance.

While you don’t get the Snapdragon 865 processor found in phones like the Galaxy S20 range or even OnePlus’s own OnePlus 8/8 Pro phones – you get a 765G processor instead – the Nord phones tick off a long list of impressive features, such as a 90Hz AMOLED display, a 48Mp-led quad-camera set-up, a huge 4115mAh battery, and 30W fast charging.

Where to buy the OnePlus Nord SIM-free – £30 discount with Amazon Prime

From 4 August, you can buy the OnePlus Nord phones SIM-free from OnePlus directly, John Lewis and Amazon (John Lewis hasn’t yet listed the device on its site).

Amazon is offering a pre-order deal that slashes off £30 on both the 128GB and 256GB models for Prime members. The offer ends 4 August and you can only order one device per customer.

The good news is if you’re not already a Prime member, you can get the discount with the 30-day free Prime trial too (you can of course cancel after the trial period ends if you wish). Amazon Prime typically costs £7.99 per month and offers access to exclusive discounts, which is especially useful during its Prime Day sales. Members also benefit from free next-day delivery and access to streaming apps like Prime Video and Amazon Music, along with a number of other benefits.

OnePlus – Order now with invitation code

OnePlus kicked off a pop-up event on 21 July right after its launch ended, which allows the first 100 customers to join a virtual queue to sign up for a special invitation code. The code allows customers to buy the OnePlus Nord before the 4 August general sale.

Pop-up registration closes on 26 July, so you still have time to sign up. OnePlus will email the first set of invitation codes on 29 July and the second round of invitation codes on 30 July. Even if you’re not one of the first hundred registrants, OnePlus promises to offer still offer you “something special” – which we think might mean additional discounts or merch.

Where to buy the OnePlus Nord on contract

There aren’t any pre-order contract deals available on the Nord just yet.

Three will be the exclusive retailer carrying OnePlus Nord phones on contract. While the carrier hasn’t offered any previews on its plans or set up a landing page for the Nord’s arrival, we expect to start seeing contracts roll in from 4 August. Stay tuned for more updates!
